  • 3 Day Culinary Experiences

    Three days / four nights of culinary exploration! For your own private session, choose between 5 standard class packages, minimum of 3 guests. We’ll cook 3-5 hours a day, with plenty of free time to explore the village & it’s lovely shops. Guests are responsible for dinner the first night only, with many tempting eateries in the surrounding area. All other breakfasts, lunches & dinners are included. There may be opportunities to join (as 1 or 2 people) with pre-scheduled sessions on the calendar. Bespoke experiences are also available (scroll 2 arrows for more info). Starting from €2,100 per guest, including lodging (double occupancy). Please anticipate a 4 night / 5 day timeframe: arrival date (afternoon), 3 full days of classes, & departure date (morning).

    Five days / six nights of culinary exploration. For your own private session, choose between 10 standard class packages, minimum of 3 guests. We’ll cook 3-5 hours a day, & have 1-2 food related experiences during the week (season & activity schedules permitting). Guests are responsible for dinner the first night only, with many tempting eateries in the surrounding area. All other breakfasts, lunches & dinners are included. There may be opportunities to join (as 1 or 2 people) with pre-scheduled sessions on the calendar. Bespoke experiences are also available (scroll 1 arrow for more info). Starting from €3,150 per guest, including lodging (double occupancy). Please anticipate a 6 night / 7 day timeframe: arrival date (afternoon), 5 full days of classes, & departure date (morning).

  • Bespoke Experiences

    For those of you who are looking to learn specific techniques or dishes, we offer the ability to customize your cooking adventure. Work with Chef Denise to create your own experience, minimum of 3 guests (single occupancy). Cooking generally ranges from 3-5 hours a day, depending upon what you’ve chosen. There are opportunities for excursions in the local area (think farmers markets, vineyards, Lyon). Pricing is variable, of course, but includes classes, lodging & meals - guests are responsible for dinner the first night only, with many tempting eateries in the surrounding area.   • Enjoy a unique stay in France!

    Having owned her own cooking school near Chicago for 12 years, Chef Denise brings her culinary know-how to France, specifically Roanne. We aim to create distinctive & enlightening experiences for our guests, sharing our love for food & the pleasures of our new surroundings.

    Please note that all classes are taught in English.

  • Château Stays

    Enjoy the inviting confines & gardens of Château Dépierre for a relaxing visit. Our property boasts 3 newly remodeled, beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with a brand new, en-suite bath. We’ve remodeled with a careful eye, to appreciate the decorative elements of the property while integrating certain modern comforts. We book stays by appointment only (2 night minimum) & the entire Château can be made available for larger groups (up to 8).
