Marlon: I was in the middle of a divorce…
And…we met at a Starbucks. Like, in line. Not even meeting for a date there. And, there it is. Coffee, flirting, the “thanks for having coffee with me” line. Not glamorous but life-changing nonetheless.
We both share a passion for France & French culture. Denise has visited France over a dozen times - each visit further intensifying her desire to live there "one day". Marlon has always known that he wanted to live in another country "after my daughter is grown". We visited France together in September 2019 & Marlon knew that the culture & lifestyle of France would make for the perfect "next adventure". Covid really solidified our desire to make it happen.
We are eager to host travelers for experiential weekends at Chateau Depierre. Our goal is to create a gracious environment - a place to stop time for a few precious moments & allow our guests to relax, feel pampered & moved to explore something new.
