Jean Puy, a Fauvist painter & contemporary of Henri Matisse, once lived at the Château. He is a local legend with both a street & school bearing his name in Roanne. We’ve designated our largest suite in his honor.

You'll stay in this lovely, spacious suite at the front of the Chateau, B&B style. The new full, en-suite bathroom is appointed with period-style fixtures, including a heated towel rack & 2 shower heads. We’ve remodeled with a careful eye, to appreciate the decorative elements of the property while integrating certain modern comforts.

This suite has a king bed.

The grand salon, with a fireplace, the spacious dining room & a lovely outdoor patio in the garden are also available for our guests.

Kindly note, for the comfort & enjoyment of all of our guests, the property is not suitable for children under 16 or pets. That said, service animals are absolutely welcome (please let us know in advance).
