Re-visiting
So excited to be able to share our second look at the property. In April, 2022, we flew back to France to sign the first of two official documents to gain ownership of the chateau. This first one was called the compromise. The second one will be signed sometime in July, we think. We were happy to be able to go back in to re-discover our love for the beautiful bones of the chateau. The ceilings are magnificent, the entryway so grand & the bedrooms bigger than we remembered (not huge, but certainly bigger than our Oak Park apartment!). We can’t wait to get started on shining up the place a little - new paint, some new bathrooms, a little cleaning & TLC. Now, the garden is another story - it’s totally over-run right now. We’ll have our work cut out there. For now, enjoy the new pictures!
