Something Magical

Marlon’s comment about this chateau was “there’s something magical awaiting to be unlocked here”. The curb appeal was beyond compare & the interior was primed for personal touches. The current owners have put an extreme amount of work into the bones of the chateau: plumbing, electricity, raising ceilings in the basement, new industrial strength wood pellet heating system & every room primed & just waiting for paint. There were about 7 outbuildings that included a barn, a guard house, a friggin’ boulangerie (bakery with wood fired brick ovens), a garage, a dovecoat & a completely magically dilapidated greenhouse. The one drawback (& just how big of a drawback?) is that this chateau was in the middle of (kinda) nowhere. No local shopping & a sort of void of village interest. We talked about this one for days & days after we saw it…
