The Improv Sessions

Take your cooking to the next level!

Ever wonder how chefs cook without recipes? This class explores the engineering behind building dishes & how to cook using general culinary principles. Each day, we’ll discuss & create dishes using the basic tenets, then we’ll make one dish as a group without a recipe. Think: soups, salads, grains, seared meat with a sauce, braising etc.

While all classes are tailored to the season (& available ingredients), because of the “improv” nature of this class, menus will widely vary. Be prepared for the most delicious creative cooking you can imagine!

minimum of 3 guests – maximum of 6

Please anticipate a 4 night / 5 day timeframe: arrival date (afternoon), 3 full days of classes, & departure date (morning). Class includes 5 days of hands-on instruction (with recipes), lodging, & meals. Guests are only responsible for their own dinner on the arrival date.
