Foundational French

The French are renowned for their remarkable food – we’re sure it’s a reason you want to come here!   Spend the week learning the most famous of French dishes.  We cover multiple regional specialties, using a variety of different cooking techniques.  Each day, we’ll cook up favorites, including desserts. 

While all classes are tailored to the season (& available ingredients), example dishes might include: oefs en meurette, moules mariner, croque madame, salad with classic vinaigrette, traditional beef bourguignon, quiche lorraine, salad nicoise, tartiflette, tarte tatin & chocolate souffle.

minimum of 3 guests – maximum of 6

Please anticipate a 4 night / 5 day timeframe: arrival date (afternoon), 3 full days of classes, & departure date (morning). Class includes 5 days of hands-on instruction (with recipes), lodging, & meals. Guests are only responsible for their own dinner on the arrival date.
