Culinary Academy

Have much more confidence in the kitchen —   spend a week really learning how to cook. This class is not “recipe” driven, rather it’s guided by culinary techniques (you will, however, get the recipes!). Each day, we’ll cover both sweet & savory dishes, setting you up to start creating your own successes at home. Starting with a full knife skills session, we’ll prepare creations each day that will be perfect additions to your culinary “toolbox”. 

While all classes are tailored to the season (& available ingredients), example dishes might include: grilled vegetable barley soup, creamy potato & bacon soup, apple cider salad with brie croutons, duck breast salad with goat cheese, chicken picatta, braised chipotle pork shoulder, polenta cake with fresh fruit compote & chocolate mousse.

minimum of 3 guests – maximum of 6

Please anticipate a 4 night / 5 day timeframe: arrival date (afternoon), 3 full days of classes, & departure date (morning). Class includes 5 days of hands-on instruction (with recipes), lodging, & meals. Guests are only responsible for their own dinner on the arrival date.
